Room deodourisers

We have recently started using the real fire in our newish house. It's lovely on a cold evening but there is a lingering odour. I am looking for suggestions on ways or products (not to chemically if possible) to deodourise. TIA.

Bowls of bicarb or vinegar and a halved onion is supposed to work on some smells. Open windows when possible.

Try this gel deodorizer it gives off a lovely fresh smell and mine has been going strong for a couple of weeks now:-)

Any candle. Amazing things! Once got the smell of cat shit out of the living room when I was a young teen, mum didn't even notice!
