Best way to remove paint?

Good Morning folks
My garage is painted black and white, but now I want to repaint it with all white.

Shall I paint a few coats of white to cover the parts where it is painted black or shall I remove the black paint first? If it is better to remove the paint, then can someone suggest the best and cheapest way to remove the black paint?

You could just paint over it with white paint it would be much more cost effective for you. If however you want to get rid of the black paint first and then apply a fresh coat of white paint, then i would recommend that you use a paint stripper first and then paint over the garage in white.

I would get a thick decent one coat paint and paint a few coats after the black and one over the white
