What to do with excess tights / stockings

Unopened packets of tights / stockings.

I've uncovered an utterly ludicrous number of these when having a wardrobe clear out, so need to get rid of some.

Is there anywhere that takes these as donations? It seems wasteful to just bin them. Normally I'd be thinking charity shops for clothes, but second hand packets of tights / stockings aren't the sort of thing that you generally see them selling.

I've seen them for sale unopened in charity shops before. As long as they are labelled with size etc I don't see why not.

Second charity shops. Or NPAC.

Charity, some food banks take clothes or have an associated group that does, friends/family if they are fancy.

Thanks.

Good to hear that charity shops will be able to make use of these.

Women's shelters too, they might take them.
