Recommend me a good dehumidifier please?

We live in a large Victorian house with original sash Windows. At this time of year, all the way through to the Spring the windows are running with condensation. I open them as much as possible but we also use dehumidifier in our bedroom and the dining room as those are the worst affected.
I have bought them from John Lewis but they are DeLonghi, not automated at all and they wear out within about 2 years.
Does anyone have a recommendation please? I've had a quick look on Amazon and there are smart ones but I'm trying to shortcut the research by hoping somebody here has done it already and will just tell me what to do.
The rooms are large with high ceilings (maybe 4m square, ceilings a couple of metres high)

We have a Mitsubishi that is 10 years old now, and still going strong.

We have an ebac, at the time of buying they sold different sizes depending on the size of your house. It's made a huge difference here.

Ive also got an ebac, seems to remove quite a bit of water.

Oh and ours is a smart one. I tend to put it on full blast if there is loads of washing hanging up. Otherwise the auto mode detects how much moisture in the air and turns it on and off accordingly - it does seem to work.

I have a meaco one which is good and switches itself on and off to manage humidity.

It sees pretty heavy usage and does well, even after two years.

Sorry for hijacking but do dehumidifiers cost a lot to run?

Pro Breeze is the one for you. We use to have really bad condensation in our dining room and my hubby brought one of these and it's really helped us out.
