Drying towels (between uses)

How do you dry your towels between uses? We currently have an over bath airer that we hang them on but I find it embarrassing having them there if people come over. We only have thin towels so they do dry quite quickly but limited on options as very small house!

We have a towel rail on the wall

I've got a tail towel rail radiator in our bathroom so it dries them everyday especially now the heating is on!

Thatwaslulu · 14/11/2016 19:15

Hang them over the bannister.

DillFunk · 14/11/2016 19:15

We have a chrome 'over the radiator' airer in our bedroom. It's not the best looking contraption but stops smelly towels. And can be put away when necessary.

RoganJosh · 14/11/2016 19:17

On a radiator.

DillFunk · 14/11/2016 19:17

And I bought towels to match the bedroom rather than bathroom so they don't stand out too much.

I have a set of bath towel hooks over the radiator, so I put them there. If there is an extra one I hang it from the hot press handle. (Hot press=airing cupboard)

Tumble dryer

ChipInTheSugar · 14/11/2016 20:13

Airing cupboard

Over the doors but it's not ideal! Over the shower screen , not ideal , but I'm not embarrassed by people seeing them to be honest... they're not dirty knickers are they??

sleepingbeauty27 · 15/11/2016 20:29

We have a towel rail that i use where i put my towels in between use and i need them drying.

CMOTDibbler · 15/11/2016 20:33

Over the banister

eurochick · 15/11/2016 20:46

We have a heated towel rail instead of a radiator. They dry brilliantly on that.

WoodsTreesWhere · 16/11/2016 13:40

Radiator. Also have quick drying John Lewis towel, it is better I think!

youngestisapsycho · 16/11/2016 13:54

We just hang on hooks on back of bathroom door... they dry fine and don't ever smell. A friend of mine washes them after every use... there are 6 people in her house!

Monkeybunkey · 16/11/2016 14:11

On the towel rail in the bathroom at the moment, as it's over the radiator. When the heating's not on, they go on an airer in the spare bedroom with the window open.

outnumbered38 · 16/11/2016 14:18

I have hooks in the airing cupboard and they all hang in there.

WorkAccount · 16/11/2016 14:21

towel rail here, electric and central heating so it works in the summer as well.

Sleeplessinmybedroom · 16/11/2016 14:28

We have hooks on the back of all the upstairs doors. Mine goes in the bathroom, Dp's goes in the bedroom and the Dc's on their bedroom doors.
