Will scrap metal take empty helium canisters?

Hi I have about three helium canisters which are empty but don't know how to throw them away.

I was wondering if scrap metal would take it?

Can I just throw them in normal bin bag

I would also like to know.
Presumably can't just throw away as they're pressurised?

Yeah it's really difficult to know what to do ..they are just sitting in the garage

Take them to the tip for recycling
