How can I removed bathroom sealant from the arse of DH's expensive, synthetic Rab walking trousers?

They're done aren't they? Anything harsh is going to ruin them.... Should I LTB?

Definitely LTB - I mean, what on earth was he doing with a sealant gun near his arse I wouldnt trust him if I where you

Seriously though, if they look like they are done anyway, then you have nothing to loose by trying the following...

I had some of that insulating foam on a silk top last week cos I'm clumsy like that , its much stickier & hard to get off anything than sealant is. I got it off with Bar Keepers Friend, Sticky Stuff Remover figured I had nothing to lose, know its good stuff as I've used it for other things & it worked

I know I'm being incredibly unreasonable. What else would you wear to re-tile the bathroom but the most expensive dark coloured trousers you own?

I have found Bar Keeper's friend online and I am purchasing as we speak. The stain has dried now, so no harm in waiting a few days for it to arrive.

I would live to be able to roll my eyes & laugh at the stupidity if that, but as I started faffing around with an art project, whilst dressed up to go out & wearing a favourite turquoise silk blouse. Managing to squirt insulating foam & somehow flip a big chunk onto my sleeve - I can't

Mmm. Sealant might be a bit like glue? I got copydex all over my favourite hand knitted wool cardigan and it had hardened. I used a pencil eraser to rub it off....it took a long tine but it worked. Worth a go?

Sticky Stuff Remover is good for most yuck. John Lewis sells it.

Just realised I said "Sticky Suff Remover" was made by Bar Keepers Friend - I bought a new bottle in town earlier & it isn't, it's made by "De-Solv-it" it does say on the label it removes sealant though

Bar Keepers Friend is a range of cleaners, which are great for general cleaning, tiles, stainless steel, etc

A long shot, but would putting it in the freezer cause it to go brittle and break off?

THIS may help. It does say if the stain has dried, put the item in the freezer as the first method to try.
