Hi dimpledthighs fantastic to have you back glad your dd has settled now...its not nice to leave the poor little things when they are sooo sad!

Well I'm off to town to get food!

Will then make a start on the bathroom..I did the downstairs loo yesterday, so that's one out the way!

hi dt not sure i'll get much help from parents as they're only here one night and will have to tidy like mad before the come too

and BIG lol at jelley for having so many kids over.

well, i've just managed to clear the kitchen and sort the w/m and d/w.

need to do the bathroom but both DDs ill so need to stay downstairs to be with them really. DD2 sleeping and DD1 watching Diego at the moment. Both of us have just had some malt loaf - yum.

Might clear toys in living room.

noooooooooo - cannot do more housework after yesterday! I have a super shiny house tho' so i hope that counts lol!!

LUDA - hope you mass tidy went well too ... i then cooked a 2 course dinner in the evening so slept like a log ... DS woke at 6.00 am tho'

right well, have just got kids up washed and dressed and done 1st round of washing up (that dh said he'd do before he came to bed last night ) so once that is all done and out the way i will shine my sink not my favorite job, but then what is?!

Have to go see my MIL in a little while plus go shopping for a friend's wedding present before the school run. Have stuck to the basics this morning as not much time.
Make beds done
Load dishwasherdone
Clean kitchen surfacesdone
Tidy living roomdone
Vacuum downstairsdone
Clean bathrooms (will do this later on)
Hope everyone has a good day today, I can sympathise with all who were up early - ds2 up during night as usual then awake from just after 6am, when will we ever get a night's sleep???

My bathroom isn't too bad at the moment.
So far today i have
All up Up,dressed,fed!
Done hair.
Emptied DW.
Pulled out WM and DW to sweep underneath(ewww) and wipe floor. Between the 2 was looking gross! And mop doesn't fit between them.
TD on.
WM on.

Need to go to town now. Its very wet out but heavy rain seems to of passed for now. More forecast for later though.

morning everyone:

We are looking after friends dog for a few days!?! Have never had a dog before. girls are delighted. Went for walk in woods and how to shower him when we came back mud everywhere. he is a cuttie though.

Is this why you see most people just waking on footpath to prevent the mess?

It is a good decider for us do we want a dog or rather could i cope with everything else.

He is lovely to stroke and has'nt left my side!!

to do list:

d/w wont empty so washed dishes by hand!!
make leek and potatoe soup for lunch
put washing away and do some ironing atleast start it.

oh defrost meat for beef stew for dinner

Do some reading with girls
Sort out spare room
Put as much clean washing away as possible
sort out hotpress put as much laundry away as possible.

Have fun everyone enjoy mid term weather is rotten wish it snowed instead of rain.

hi snowisgone. I would love a dog. Ive been brought up with dogs but never owed my own yet. DD1 would love a cat. No chance! Lol! im not a cat person.

Been to town. Its very cold and windy today. Missed the rain though luckily. Just drizzling now.

DD's are destroying the sofa at the moment!! I will get lunch in a minute.

Hi Everyone

Well you will be pleased to know that Ellie went back to sleep from 830 until 1020. So I placed her in her cot & i went back to bed. Feel so much better, althought she is sneezing a lot, a bit clingly. I really hope she isn't coming down with yet another cold
jelleySorry your ds had you up early too. I was going to say hope you get some rest. Not a hope will all those kids
ludaloo I wish that was the case Ellie has been going through a 'I hate to sleep phase' since she was born You did well yesterday, you deserve a bunch of flowers. did giggle at the mini rolls & pop corn.

attempting to defrost meat to put in slow cooker !! for stew for tonight
still no ironing done

amazing how you have to make sure everything is up off the floor as he is still only a puppy. Going well so far is the house starting to smell doggy smell? my hubby is due home later been away since thurs so no doubt he will let me know

right so now list from earlier

get kids dressed done
load washing machine done
do washing up done
unload washing machine - load tumble done
empty nappy bin done
take rubbish out done
tidy dds bedroom (not been brave enough yet!)

and now i have to add:
Shine sink
hoover after dd threw her sandwich all over the floor
empty tumble
sort washing
put washing away

Sorry to hear everyones little ones seem to be ill, its horrible when they aren't right!

Hello, I'm back from town...decided to go to Morrisons instead of Lidls today... I couldn't face Lidls in this rain! I can only ever get a space miles from the shop...DD2 has a nasty habit of getting out the trolley, as it doesn't have straps, and that just stresses me out, and of course...you can't pack your bags in the shop, and I didn't fancy standing in the rain packing, while all the food, and me got wet and cold!!!!!!

stacey you are doing very well!

taylormama You did loads!!! And cooked a dinner! I managed my whole downstairs, I dusted, wiped, hoovered, de-cluttered, moved furniture out, did downstairs loo, all lightshades, cleaned the windows..and made a start upstairs. My dh came home at about 3pm, and I got side tracked by him....under my feet!

Tort how the heck did you manage to move the w/m and d/w??? I tried it but I can't budge them!

right im here to join you so far today i have
put everyting back where it should be in living room and the kitchen
cleaned the bath and sink tidyed my towels emptied bathroom bin moved all the clothes out

hung everything up in wardrobes put shoes away tidyied dressing table

put two loads in dryer
put load in washer

moved clothes into wash basket
thrown all random bits of rubbish away out of our bedroom and changed sheet

and still my house looks like a tip

Well you seem to be doing ok for a start!
Try not to get too worried about the whole house!
I do a general tidy of most rooms, then concentrate on which ever zone we are in. This week is a good one, as I only have a small bathroom, and my one other room is a cupboard this week!
You could focus on your bathroom...and one other room this week.

It might also help to spend a few minutes de-cluttering...as Kelly says...you can't tidy clutter (I think that's what she says )
Anyway...you need to get rid of all the crap you really don't need...in the bath room, I am ok...but things like magazines etc are a good example.

They slide quite well on the floor! Needed a bit of strength but I'm no weakling.

Don't feel 100% today. I know its mainly down to not enough sleep so i need to tackle that. I went to bed early last night then went on the PS2 on until 12!

I need to phone my sol too. Had report from the Dr that visited recently. It is quite favourable for me. SW has to have her report in soon. She has said she may change her mind from last report depending on what the dr says in his. Need lots of positive thoughts now!
