Dinnerware. Extraordinarily exciting

I'd like a nice set of plates.

• mostly but not completely white, maybe a geometric pattern round the rim
• dishwasher proof

I'm not keen on the shape of the Denby ones. Ideal would be something like these Wedgewood beauties but with a colour rather than gilt, and cheaper! Any ideas?

I also have a very old Asda range that was £5 about 13 years ago and it won't chip or break as much as i try

It doesn't seem to be price that determines the breakage ability.
