Hold the front page! The inner plate on my microwave is not revolving!!

Could anyone shed any light on my microwave malfunction please?

Has it always been like that? I recently bought a new Panasonic microwave with exactly that problem. My husband wanted me to take it back but I'm too much of wimp.

Don't know if this will work on yours, but if you take out the plate and push the three-pronged bit DOWN (whist turning), it's OK for one or two goes!

put wd40 on it, it works for anything

It needs jiggling obv. jiggle it a bit.

Might be a bit technical for you that!
