Mine need doing desperately and I'm sick of the sticky mess thats left behind by my vax floor spray.

Zoflora and water with a mop

ImSoTakei · 16/10/2016 19:08

Isn't that plant food? :/

Cif wood floor cleaner.

wobblywonderwoman · 16/10/2016 19:12

Best thing is a tiny drop of washing up liquid and warm water

BitchyInnerMonologue · 16/10/2016 19:14

E-mop. Hot water only required, but I use a tiny spray of dettol on it to ensure it's clean.

nicknamehelp · 16/10/2016 19:17

Steam mop

kimlo · 16/10/2016 19:17

For a quick wipe over floor wipes. For a bigger clean zoflora in hot water with ecloths.

Both on my hands and knees, I don't like mops.

Cupoftchaiagain · 16/10/2016 19:19

Doesn't anyone use flash and a mop?

ayeokthen · 16/10/2016 19:21

I sometimes use the flash wood floor cleaner, the other ones smell too strong.

sunnycloudyraining · 16/10/2016 19:23

I like the cif floor one, doesn't leave a residue. Drop of zoflora for that lovely lingering smell

GiraffeWithAShortNeck · 16/10/2016 19:25

I use flash and a mop. But I'm probably ruining the laminate... Am I?

ayeokthen · 16/10/2016 19:28

I don't think so Giraffe it's not wrecked mine and it's been down 6 years.

ayeokthen · 16/10/2016 19:29

I've used bleach, flash, floor cleaner and all sorts!

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 16/10/2016 19:30

E-mop and a spray of Method

BishopBrennansArse · 16/10/2016 19:33

My cleaner uses a steam mop.
(I'm disabled - used to do it myself)

ImSoTakei · 16/10/2016 20:14

I had a steam mop, 2 infact and they just left the floor soaking wet.

Another one for diluted Zoflora and a squeezy mop after vacuuming, roughly every three days.

Kim82 · 16/10/2016 20:33

Another vote for Zoflora (the fresh linen one smells amazing) and hot water.

sevenpounds · 17/10/2016 07:51

I use HG Laminate Floor wash with a mop and bucket.

user1477307675 · 24/10/2016 14:04

Laminate floor cleaner - dilute in hot water and use a sponge cleaner that can be squeezed dry.

J0kersSmile · 24/10/2016 14:09

I just hoover then mop using hot water, washing up liquid and a little bit of bleach. Laminate has been down eleven years in January and it was the cheapest one in bnq.

HappydaysArehere · 25/10/2016 01:30

I was told by fitters not to get the flooring too wet. The reason being that the water would get between the boards and there is a kind of felt/rubber type under foam. So use wipes or damp cloths.

AppleMagic · 25/10/2016 01:59

I recently bought an ecloth mop and it's great. Only leaves the floor very slightly damp.

HappydaysArehere · 25/10/2016 09:31

AppleMagic where did you buy your ecloth mop? Sounds really useful.

radicaldude · 25/10/2016 11:12

You can pick up a lovely ecloth mop for your laminate floor from here
