Does anyone have this?
It looks amazing to me. Especially the add on feature. When there is the odd sock or pants I find under Dc beds.

I am hoping my washer will die soon so I can get one of these lol. X

Seems like a useless feature to me!

My (Bosch) machine has this. You just pause it, wait for it to say 'yes' then add whatever in. I never use it! I'd rather put things in the washing basket for next time than put them in mid cycle and not get properly clean/ miss the soap cycle.

cathaka15 · 11/10/2016 17:29

MsMims- do you know if the Samsung works in the same way?
Having to stop the cycle to add. Or do you just open the compartment while its washing.
My beko is a good machine. But soon as I saw the Samsung it was love at first sight.

I camnt imagine any washing machine letting ypou open a laplap whilst its spinning, that could be incredibly dangerous surely?
It'd have to stop and let ypou add it in.

But it'll either extend the wash cycle of whatever you add won't be as clean as other things because its missed however long of the cycle.

dementedpixie · 11/10/2016 17:39

I have watched a YouTube review and you do have to pause it to add something. You also can't add if the drum temperature is over 50 degrees or if suds have formed

shovetheholly · 12/10/2016 08:57

Other machines also do this - it's just Samsung are the ones marketing it heavily. It is a really useful feature, but I can confirm what PPs have said - the machine won't open on a spin cycle or when it's full, so it's really safe.

My Bosch has this, I love it. I often use it, dropped socks on the way to the machine are a favourite! Or a white school shirt after I've started the white wash. But I do only tend to do it at the beginning, pretty much as the machine is filling. I wouldn't do it halfway through a three hour cycle.
