How do you descale your loo mechanism? We have a button flush with a large and small button, both are getting stuck in the flush position and the water is running through the toilet continuously. We stopped it by opening the cistern and manually putting it back in the fill position.
So far (idiot) dh has put bleach and toilet descaler on it... making a lot of lovely chorine gas. Unfortunately the limelite he used washed away so it had no effect on the scale.
Advice required to avoid having to use a bucket of tap water to flush it for the near future!
