"Barely there" air refresher....

I want something that can sit in the corner or under the bed, depending which room it's in, that gives a hint (and I mean a hint!) of freshness. No strong perfume or aroma. I find many fresheners overpowering.

We have neutradol ones in shoe cupboard and behind loos and I find they are really good, quite subtle, but perhaps slightly clinical for the living rooms/bedrooms.

TIA for any recommendations.

I'm not really a fan of these. Can't you just open a window instead?

Well yes, but not so much in winter! I don't want the road noise particularly from the open window and I just want a really light touch "fresh" smell. Must be such a product out there!

I am not a huge fan, like you, most of them are overpowering but wondered if I had missed something in the subtle end of the market and I don't want to burn candles either.
