Can you recommend a tumble dryer please

Hi and sorry I know this has been asked before. Want to buy a new td. Doesn't need to look pretty as will be stored in the shed so it doesn't matter if it's not a condenser either as a tube can be shoved out of the door or window easily. Will be mainly used for towels and sheets. Thanku

It's ace. Holds a ton of stuff and is really quick plus the water tank empties really easily as its at the top right where the detergent drawer normally is on a washer. It got a great score on Which.

Thanku for reply I'll look into. The last condenser one I had was a right faff to empty so that's handy it's at the top

We have a Bosch, not cheap but wouldn't go for any other brand

I used to have a Bosch dish washer and agree they are a very good make

I would recommend a vented dryer over a condenser. We used to have a really basic white knight dryer - just a timer and 2 heat settings. It dried quick, never creased things and it was quiet. It got replaced with a fancy sensor, condenser dryer and it's not as good - takes a long team, creases things up and it's quite loud. it seems to get a lot hotter but not dry as well too. The sensor never works properly, it always leaves things damp.

Mine is also a Beko 9kg sensor dryer but maybe an older model than the one linked. Allows you to choose how dry the load is etc.

We have had it about 3 years, we used a plumbing kit so it drains into the same pipe as the washing machine rather than emptying the bottle each time.

The spin on your washing machine makes a huge difference in the time it takes to tumble something. I went from a 1200 Bosch to a 1400 AEG.

We've had our Bosch condenser tumble dryer for a while now (11 years this year!) but it is still going strong and is absolutely fab. Water drawer at top left and easy to empty (and doesn't need emptying all the time), and fluff filter easy to empty too. Very reliable and has been worth its weight in gold.
