Where to put nappies?!

OK, so myself, partner and 2 year old are moving next week to a top floor flat in a converted house, but with no outdoor space and no outdoor bins.

Im in a bit of panic mode on thinking what to do with nappies. We usually put them in an outside bin but wont have that option here. Black sacks get collected every two weeks.
Where can i store 2 weeks worth in the least smelliest way.

The only other option i see is to potty train, however we've been trying for the past month and no luck.

Take a daily trip to a litter bin. Where are you expected to store your rubbish?

I don't know but what are you going to do with the black sacks for two weeks?? Is there no outside area at all for a bin? Surely that can't be right...

Tommee tippee sangenic nappy bin or something similar.

I have a nappy bin, Angel care I think, but it wouldn't hold two weeks worth. And they still smell a bit.
Can you get a metal dustbin with lid, ask to keep it outside, and have a nappy bin in the flat, then empty the full sacks into the outside dustbin?

I don't understand why you haven't an outdoor bin - where is your usual bin rubbish meant to go (food etc) ?

I think its awful- I would have to triple wrap and dump one of two in public bins but surely thats not right.

Stick in a nappy sac, dump outside door and then every day/evening when you take your rubbish out put them in the black bin

As PP said a tommee tippee bin. We have one in our bedroom and one downstairs. They get emptied once a week when the bins go out but we have never had any smell at all.

We had previously lived in a flat with this same situation but didn't have a child then and were both working long hours so didn't make much rubbish and it was just the one bin each week going out on rubbish day.

I think its the norm here to store your rubbish in your home until rubbish day, recycling and waste on alternative days and food every week.
Its a busy town with most houses having no gardens and being converted into flats so there is no where possible to even put outside bins.
I think I'll have to just get rid of them each day!

Oh dear lord that sounds disgusting, 2 weeks worth of rubbish in your home??!! Ffs! We used a nappy genie ,it was great and well worth the money.

I tip the poo into the loo then the nappy goes in a nappy sack in the normal bin, doesn't whiff at all.

Ugh, I'd hate to have ANY rubbish in my home for 2 weeks, that's kind of disgusting!

Here's an idea - I used to use cloth nappies, and on advice from a friend who also did that, I bought a 30L brewing bin to keep them in until I had a washload full. Never smelt at all.

So, you could get one of those, line it with a black bin liner or 2 (double is probably better) then put the nappies in there and slam the lid shut again - they're pretty airtight so there's no smell except when you open the lid of course. Depending on how many nappies your child goes through, you should get at least one week's worth of nappies in there, maybe even 2?

You know the nappy training might click into place yet.. Keep persevering - it might take a few weeks

I hate having rubbish too inside too! Im going to have to crackdown on the man too, he's the sort that puts a cereal box or empty can un squashed into the bin. Grrr.

I may buy a some reusable nappies so that at least saves the nappy issue! It just seems a waste at here age!

I can't even imagine 2 weeks worth of rubbish inside! It'll encourage rodents.
