Another cupboard wiped out. Did inside the dorr to.Ewwww it was all yellow. Probably not been done since i stopped smoking! (over a year ago). Looked like nicotine anyway.Could be wrong!

Microwave to do next.

Ok, just tailored the flyzones list to our house. I've arranged it into five zones, so I plan to do one each work day. I think it just might be do-able!

My kitchen sink is already pretty clear, so I'm going to start there. Here is my list:

  1. empty fridge and fruitbowl (I think something is living in there..)
  2. clean cooker
  3. wash inside windows
  4. clean cooker hood (shudder. It wasn't clean when we moved in here a year ago. I'm not sure how much of a difference I'll make)5. wash cupboard doors
  5. wash cat food bowl (yuk, but I've got to do it)
  6. wipe down the top of wm, dw, and tumble drier
  7. clean out gunk from washer drawer
  8. unload and reload dishwsher.

Well I have the period from hell is was late so I feel pretty crap. Doesn't help that didnt get much sleep last night with dd.

I have a friend coming 1ish so I am off to get organised will check back in later. I hope I dodn't miss anybody out.

Dd2 asleep and Ds playing in the garden.

I'm going to finish the kitchen off

FWIW I strongly approve of the arrival of VWVic She saved my pressure cooker from last week's disaster. Hello. This thread is fab motivation. My house looks fab, tidying is easy and it's down to the wonderful ladies here THANKS there are so many of you.

Today's done list

Up and washed
DS up and washed
S&S bathroom
Empty DW
Put away
Make breakfast
Tidy away
S&S worktops
Make DS's bed
Make our bed (DH should have done it, he was last in)
Dress DS
Organise bags
Take DS to school
Attend course (last week!)
Collect DS
Make my lunch

To Do
Vac downstairs
Call for plumber (syphon playing up in loo)
Sort out laundry to do
Get DS's clothes ready for tomorrow
Make DS's tea

TYaking it slow and steady again but will have to knucle down as I'm out all day tomorrow (and if I don't do it who will?)

Woo hoo! the scrub fest is over for today. My cooker hood looks as though I haven't touched it, anyone have any ideas for how to get really thick gunge off? [puke emoticon]

VWVic one good turn etc....I used to work for a major burger chain and we used to blast it off with a spray attatchment...maybe a Karcher or pressure washer might help

Sorry I haven't had time to come on since this morning - we've hardly been at home and when we have ds has insisted on playing on the computer (how dare he?! )
I haven't caught up with the thread at all - looks busy though!

Flapjacks didn't come out so well today. Don't know what i did wrong!

Cleaned up a coin i found in the garden and it has 1918 on it. Will it make me my millions do ya think!?!

VWVic have you tried flash spray with bleach? Wedge kitchen roll on and spray through it. It cuts through most things.

Mind I am not entirely sure which bit it is you are trying to clean, so my idea may be useless...

Did bin last week so thats handy, so will do bathroom bin instead which is MINGING

Hello again
Called for plumber at 2:45 and one scheduled for 4pm! (how good is that?)

Major League domestic CHAOS this aft. Came downstairs do do some quick flying while DS was on the computer...but it's never quick or straight forwards when you need it to be is it? Thought 'give the hearth a wipe' then I realised the fire was sooting up so clean that out which means moving the fireguard out, then DS hears the vac and demands to help Do a quick vac of downstairs, go to change bag and....OH NO! Bag has slipped off in cover. Dirt and dust of days is piling up onkitchen floor, I'm looking like a chimney sweep and then DS comes screaming in certain he has burnt himself (he's trapped his finger in the fire guard. it's 3:15 band the plumber is coming at 4...PANIC. Tidy up replace vac bag, vac dust up then confine us to quick bath. Out, dry, in bed clothes and wait for the plumber. Loo fixed and all well by 4:30. Chaos subsides.

Load WM with dirty clothes and run
Bring damp laundry down for TD and run
Empty WM
Hang out
Tidy round
Get DS clothes and bag ready for morning

DH making family dinner tonight so I can stop for a bit.

Oh re Kitchen Bin cleaning Mission...simple, don't have one! DH will not never ever ever entertain a kitchen bin, he decrees them too messy and yucky. We dangle a carrier on a door handle and chuck it when full. Now it's 3 (1 trash, 1 recycle and 1 glass) and if we have guests, the bags get removed early. Worked for 13 years that one.

Tomorrow more chief bridesmaid duties...Undies and shoes I think it is. Be nice to kick back and be girly again
