I have a Beko condenser tumble dryer which went BANG this morning and gave off a smoke smell, but no obvious burning or fire. Obv not using it anymore, just in case, but am now on the hunt for a new one. Needs to be...

I assume it is 'out of guarantee' and you don't have service contract??

We have several Beko items and have been OK thus far.

Hotpoint is really Whirlpool now, and has had problems.
