Any cylinder vacuums good on carpets?

Can anyone suggest a (reasonably affordable) cylinder vacuum that will work well for somewhere that is carpeted throughout? I have heard uprights are better for carpets but struggling to store one. Thank you in advance if anyone can!

Any cylinders that come with an air driven turbo brush - Henry Xtra, Miele Cat & Dog, Dyson Animal, Morphy Richards Family & Pets are all good choices

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I am going to look at the turbo brush ones or maybe at buying an air driven turbo brush attachment. The Zanussi one ....I think I saw that or a similar one on Amazon and it seemed ideal but then several of the reviews mentioned something about overheating or fire and so I wasn't sure if there was a fault with it. I will look again and see if there is an alternative Zanussi.
