How to clean a burnt iron?

My iron has burn marks on it which sometimes go onto my clothes when I'm ironing.

Any ideas on how to get rid?

I tried letting it get hot and scraping it off, but it didn't work.

Rub a paracetamol tablet on the black bits while the iron is hot, it really works!

I learnt the paracetamol tick a few months back...just watch your fingers!

Faultless Hot Iron cleaner - comes in a tube, squeeze a bit on and rub in circles with old facecloth or similar when iron is hot. Stinks a bit, but iron comes up all shiny and new. Tubes lasts ages. You can get it on Amazon/eBay

You need this hot iron plate cleaner and burn remover. This will get rid of burn marks on your iron with ease.
