What's the best method for dealing with the gradual creep of toys, books etc? It's mainly in our front room as son's bedroom is v small.

Lots of cars!!

IKEA kallax units
With boxes.

Pass on stuff so if child has a birthday all toys they haven't played with in months go to charity

LugsTheDog · 19/09/2016 11:20

Kallax. 1 box per category. If they get over full, edit the box. You don't need more than one kallax of any one thing, generally.

Books - not a clue.

YY Kallax

We have a trug downstairs, at the end of the day all toys get put in it and left on the stairs forever taken up to be put away in the storage.

Thank you! I had been looking at kallax - brilliant to hear it does the job. We have charity-shopped/passed on a lot and there's not tons of stuff it's just nowhere for it to go!
