Just thought I'd share my afternoon's work with you all....this is my loft! 4 years worth of baby clothes and my summer clothes, all boxed up and labelled. You should see what's gone to the charity shop.
I'm literally so in love with it, I may sleep up here tonight......

Any kondo fans out there

Wow, that's what I want my loft to be like, I'm quarter of the way there with plastic boxes but still have random cardboard boxes and bin bags to sort and sell.
Is the rest of the house that tidy??

thenewaveragebear1983 · 17/09/2016 15:56

When the kids are out, yes!
Those boxes with kids are £2 each in asda at the moment and I'm steadily clearing the shelves. I have thrown away probably half of my stuff in the last year, which definitely helps with the tidiness

That should be boxes with lids, not kids....

Joy sparking!!!

I really want my loft to look like that. My house is tidy but I have so many outgrown good quality kids toys in the loft despite regular culling and Facebook selling.
My Christmas ornaments are neatly stacked in plastic boxes.

I've decided not to do our Christmas stuff until January, it's next on my list! We're moving so I thought I had better keep it all and see what the new house needs.
I did sell a lot of stuff but eventually ended up with boxes of stuff that I'd just moved from the house into the garage waiting to be sold. Eventually I just took it to the charity shop. I did make about £500 on eBay/gumtree/Fb selling stuff but it is a lot of hassle once the best stuff is gone I found.

We don't have a loft, but if we did we would definitely aspire for it to be that neat! The flat is so far from being joy sparking at the moment but I've just ordered the kondo book so hopefully by next year we'll be that organised!
