Cleaning a walk in shower without getting wet feet!

I have a quadrant shower with sliding doors that don't open all the way back. This means that to clean the panels on the side you actually need to be standing in the shower to get at them. I don't want to be using shower cleaner whilst showering but unless I get wet / cleaner on my feet I can't seem to get access to clean it properly, especially down in the corners and under the door runners.

Sorry, I don't seem to have described the problem properly but anyone with type of shower enclosure will probably know what I mean! Any tips or tools I can buy to make the job less awkward?

What I used to do was spray bathroom cleaner onto the glass then, one side at a time fully close the door and use the shower spray to rinse it off. Only works if you don't have a fixed shower head. We were in a soft water area so no limescale to worry about. Also everyone who uses the shower needs to rinse the inside of the doors down when they are done.

I just get in there and get wet feet!

There is no way of cleaning the shower without getting wet ha. I have just learnt to take some wipes in the shower with me in the morning and clean it as i shower.

What about Croc type shoes or jandles?

MyBootsAreMuddy · 11/09/2016 10:14

Sorry, jandles = flip flops(I'm kiwi!)

Oh God shower cleaning is my least favourite job. We have 3 none of which I use (I prefer baths) all of which I clean. One is a quadrant type and is def the worst to clean. I want to remove it altogether when/if we get around to it. I get soaked, bang my head, swear a lot...

Then when they're all lovely and clean someone will traipse in and ruin it Hmm.

Sorry that was no help, but cathartic Grin

Thanks all, yes twinkle that's me! Bend over to clean the bottom, bang head on door knob or shower mixer, almost slip, curse and swear that never again will I install a shower like this.

Okay, wet feet it'll have to be then. I have bought a long handled dishwashing brush and that does help a little but I was hoping there would be a miracle cleaner out there somewhere.
