Be careful in there!!

I'm more of a fridge slattern - have come on here to avoid the strange smell - I will clean it - later.

RustyBear · 02/02/2007 11:23

Watch out for mice!

MamaGrr · 02/02/2007 11:28

MamaGrr · 02/02/2007 11:49

Piffle · 02/02/2007 11:50

I'm pregnant, in my magazine it says expressly NOT to clean ovens.
So I'm not.

tirnanog · 02/02/2007 11:51

whats the point, you'll cook dinner later and be back to square one

tirnanog · 02/02/2007 11:53

unless you use the clean oven as an excuse to get a take away!

harpsichordcarrier · 02/02/2007 11:53

when dh said I can smell roasting meat!

MamaGrr · 02/02/2007 11:54

I quite fancy one of those ovens that has a special temp setting of 2 million degrees (or whatever ) and it burns all the shite off! MIL's new kitchen has one.

KTeePee · 02/02/2007 11:56

Hey Betty, get over to my thread on self cleaning ovens and tell me what sort she has!

fennel · 02/02/2007 11:57

we just move house every few years when the oven gets too unusable.

wish I was joking....

Cloudhopper · 02/02/2007 12:00

I have nightmares about Aggie and the other one coming to see mine and getting the lab results back.

I can picture their faces as they explain that no amount of cleaning will make it fit for humans.

BettySpaghetti · 02/02/2007 12:01

have visited your other thread KTeePee...

PeckaRolloverAgain · 03/02/2007 10:23

I need to get some of that oven pride before I tackle mine. Or better still the ovenu man.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 03/02/2007 10:32

I found some garlic bread in my oven yesterday. Well I think it was garlic bread. Problem is I can't remember the last time we had it

PinkTulips · 03/02/2007 10:58

lol, we have a combined oven and grill and the damn thing goes up in smoke when i turn the grill on

brightwell · 03/02/2007 22:51

I've been thinking about getting one of those oven cleaning companies in, anybody used one? I can't face doing it myself.

MamaGrr · 03/02/2007 22:52

I used oven pride on my stainless steel oven and it was fab - daren't use it on my new enamel one though

Lakelands Ovenmate - Very highly reccommended - Sooooo easy, you just paint on this clear gel, leave it for about 4-5 hours then wipe off with kitchen roll. No Smell no elbow grease no nothing except a really clean oven. It's so unbelievable it's like magic!
