DT That sounds good. I wouldn't find clean ironed clothes here and there that I'd forgotten to put away and had lost track of then!

~ Thank you notes (yes, still not done and it is now Feb!)

I'm going to have a cup of tea and carry on mending the living room blinds whilst watching Deal or No Deal.

Back from our little walk - only 27 houses to deliver to but took us almost an hour and dd insisted on peering through most of the letter boxes and commenting on the interiors in that loud, clear tone that children save for when they're saying something to make you

Going to try to get them to rest and watch TV for a bit now but the walk has perked them up so it may not work.

DT noticed you on the "where to eat in Oxford" thread- have noted down some of the suggestions Are you from Oxford? I'm about 18miles away...

Have cleared and put away laundry.
changed bed linen
unloaded and cleaned around kitchen
made lunch for d/d2 who is now doing jigsaws

last wash to go on hee hee
sprayed bathroom have to clean it all off yuk
ironing to do still
put hoover on still
have dusted and polished and windolened.

prepare evening meal.

hope your pie turns out well tort love to be able to make that!!

right still loads to do. this site really does motivate you to get on with little coffee breaks at computer.

ivor I nearly have my car!!! I went to pick it up and its not quite done!!! It was up on the ramps though...should have it monday!

dimpled My friend came round with her Bissell and helped me clean my carpets....they look loads better..and I now want one!!! Oh and I Hate Putting washing away too...hate it hate it hate it!!!

ivor your thank you notes make me chuckle!!! Why don't you just phone them up now...it might be quicker

You know when you make a big effort, with a lovely home-made supper and a nice clean, tidy house and no-one apprieciates it? That's me this evening

Kids won't eat the supper I've made them. Dh has come home early and hasn't noticed the effort I've made with the house or anything. Fed up now.

I feel I've made a real difference today. I was really hoping for a nice relaxed evening with no extra jobs to be doing, all dh has said is that he hopes supper will be quick because he wants to watch Midsumer murders! And I've got to work tomorrow and know dh won't bother to maintain the tidiness and so it'll be back to square one on Monday.

Just had cup of tea (well earned IMHO) DH home from foootyh at 7 but DS fussing for laptop access. Will make his pizza next.

just decided on chinese tonight as too wrecked to cook tea.

have to collect d/d from party at 7pm so both girls will fall asleep now in car nightmare.

have a nice relaxing bath and pamper yourself that's what i am going to do when i get home think all us workers deserve it.

You have all been busy again.

I tried to get in yesterday but I could not stay online. It was good though in a way as it made me go to bed very early last night.
I had a very bad night Wednesday night DS2 and then DD got bad throats. All 3 Lo`s are now on antibiotics now. All have tonsillitis.

I think the antibiotics are now working on them but they are very sleepy and already in bed sleeping. I had a much better sleep last night so today I have been busy catching up.

I hope the antibiotics work soon with your DD tort shouldbe that how my 3 are ATM. They are just so tired. 10 minutes sort of playing and then back to the sofa and being very quiet or sleeping. Hope your DD feels much better soon. Coughs and colds have seemed to be with us all winter.

Today List. Done most as I had sleep last night. Did not do much yesterday.

I hope to get a good nights sleep tonight aswell. Dc have got extra sleep in the day. I tried but there would always be 1 of them awake when the other 2 were sleeping.

My hands are really suffering from washing up liq. All red and dry and very sore. Need to put my hand cream and gloves on in bed tonight.

Hello to all. Am bushed and looking forward to bed. Last night I woke up cold and had to put my dressing gown on to keep warm and then I woke myself up by talking out loud about whether there would be another bus or not!

luda I'm glad your car is almost ready. The thank you notes are up amongst the plates (a plate rack of the large plates we don't use often that is the storage space for receipts and post and stuff.) All I have to do is write a quick note in with them and pop them in an envelope and post them! I must must MUST do those three things on the w/e. I am fed up of putting them on the list.

shouldbe I'm proud of you too. Write a list of jobs to be done and leave it pinned up. Perhaps you could promise the kids a little treat such as a magazine or something if they help their Dad to do their jobs? Maybe you could print off some pictures from the CBBC website of their favourite characters and ask them to colour them in whilst dh does the jobs tomorrow?

DC are still quiet and sleeping in bed. I managed to get a nice hot bath tonight.

Good that you DD! is feeling better.

Hope the cream and gloves work on your hands. My were very dry and sore last weekend. They get very bad in the winter months. I found Avon moisture therapy hand cream is great for my hands. Its remembering to put some on before I go outside.

BTW Orson are really great!!.

Just put some cream on and am typing in gloves. But OMG! did that cream sting tonight!! Will put somemore on later.

HN Just checked back before heading for bed. I find that sitting in bed putting hand cream on and then putting cotton gloves on helps the cream to stay on your hands rather than your bedsheets and it makes your hands heal a lot faster. I got mine from the chemist for about £1.75. I think you might be able to get them in Boots and Body Shop too.

Hassle away tort!

P.S. I forgot to say that I spent about an hour today mending the blinds in the living room. They look so much better. Now to fix those in the utility room, dining room and my bedroom. Tomorrow or Sunday maybe.

Looks like I will being doing a tort and Ivor and wearing gloves to bed. DD will be wanting to wear gloves to bed as well if she sees me wearing them.

I get dry cheeks. I know when I put cream on them it stings/hurts like hell to start with tort. Its like getting vinegar in a cut on your finger!
