Recommendations for curtain retailers please?

I have just moved house and need to visit a curtain retailer to buy some curtains. I used to go to Paul Simon in North London but they have closed. Who are the big curtain retailers these days?

They can be very expensive so really shop around.
First of all take measurements . I found to my horror that while I got
lovely ones for the main (huge) window they no longer made ones with
the short drop I needed for the small window So if your window are
odd sizes you may either have to opt for blinds or made to measure-
both v expensive.
Main dpt stores eg TJ Hughes, Linens Direct, Duneln, Argos, Next,M&S
Loads on the internet too
John Lewis lovely but pricey. Ikea flimsy and not that cheap.
Watch out for sales too C& H fabrics -normally expensive- dropped
by 50% in January sales
