Hello all
Tuesday I managed to let my pressure cooker boil dry. I almost welded it shut but when I prised it open I was confronted by cremated butter bean and barley soup.
I discarded the loose stuff but some of the burnt offerrings have adhered to the pan. 3 runs through the dishwasher and attacking with a scrubby sponge have done a bit but not a lot of good.
ATM the pressure cooker is soaking in warm water with a washing tab in it but do any of you wonderful people know a surefire way of getting the insides silver rather than black please
Thanks in advance

I saw this on How Clean is your House, but I haven't had chance to try it out yet...

Pour some full fat Coke into your pan, and bring it gentle to the boil. Keep it boiling for a few minutes, swilling it round as it does so. IIRC, the burnt stuff just comes away.
