My glass shower door is in need of a good clean but am unsure which cleaning product would be best suited for the job? Any mums out there who can help please?

I'm not a Mum but you need Viakal!

Cherryskypie · 27/08/2016 16:13

Or Cillit Bang limescale.

Any limescale product will do, along with some vigorous scrubbing. Then go over it afterwards with some glass cleaner.

In my experience if it's a really hard water area then once they're on you can make them a bit better, but they'll never go completely - it's like it eats away at the glass. I've tried anything and everything and can never get them off completely!

I use white vinegar. Yes it stinks but it's cheap and most importantly, it works.

Give Viakal limescale remover a try. Spray it on the shower door and give it a goood scrub down.

White vinegar and half a lemon! I felt a bit daft rubbing half a lemon on my shower screen, but it shifted the water stains with no scrubbing so I'm converted!

We have really hard water and the only thing that gets rid of the stains on the shower screen is elbow grease and one of those Flash magic erasers.

My cleaner made me get Viakal. My shower screen was translucent with limescale and now you can't see any on there at all. She is a genius.

I fill an old spray bottle with white vinegar spray on and wipe off after a couple of minutes. I live in a very hard water area and it works a treat

I'm not a mum so you probably don't want to hear my suggestion.
