Just rang Dyson as my hoover playing up. I am no expert but took the machine apart (the parts you can take off) and can see the rubber (band that holds wheel in place on upright) is not quite right and smells like burning rubber when switched on. Anyway explained this on the phone to the girl who refussed to believe anything I said and sopke to me like an idiot. I said I went on the website to see that it would need a new wheel and an engineer needs to do this and she snapped back "Well, yes I WAS just going to suggest this" even though she did not want to admit it was the wheel in the first place. She had even asked me to lye the hoover down to check it was spinning and when I did it a second time and repested to her that I had lay it down like she asked she said" well you would not see hte wheel itherwise would you!""" Sarky bi**h, sorry but ohhhh how cross, she made me feel so stupid!
Anyway, I did complain and never normally.
Just needed to get that of my chest. Got to ring back later to go through it with someone nicer!!!
I told my husband and he said he would be a miserable sod if he had her job! (Sorry to anyone who does work for Dyson, I am sure she was just having a bad day!)
