What's your biggest decluttering tip that helped you actually do something about the clutter?
(If possible try to avoid 'Just do it' and 'Hire a skip'!)

Avoid bargains, or if you can't resist be prepared to get rid of it if it is of no use to you. If it is only £5 in the sale, chances are you will never wear it.
Take discarded items to the charity shop regularly - don't wait until you have a carload.
If you had forgotten you had it, you don't need it.
Have things that suit you now. You are not who you were 20 years ago, or the future slim you or whatever.
Are you really going to finish all those craft projects?
