vacuum storage - pointy and unstackable!

So I've got john lewis vacuum bags that do actually work long-term for spare duvets, jumpers etc. But when shrunk, the bags become unwieldy, pointy and unstackable so im not convinced they are that helpful in helping me with my storage crisis. Anyone manage to make small neat, convenient bricks with their vacuum bags? How? Or do i need a different kind of bag? Aaarrrrggghh

Helps if you suck then beat it back into square shape keep repeating until most of the air is gone. Folding evenly as possible helps too

Better how? Jl ones have been great for a year from a vacuum perspective, i just can't store them easily

If they are ones you used a hoover to suck down, then put them into the storage box (or some sort of regular shaped box) BEFORE sucking the air out. That way as they compress they will take on the shape of the container. Voila. Square shaped vacuum bags.
