Tip for stinky kitchen cloths and sponges

stick the lot in the dishwasher every day when you run it. It's hotter than the washing machine, so more hygienic, and they don't fall to pieces either. No more yukky cloths in our house

We used to do that at work. Although I didnt have a dishwasher then but do now, its something I have never tried at home really.
But to tell the truth I tend to use anti-bac wipes rather than cloths.

I've heard of that but wasn't sure if it was suitable for all types of cloths.

I don't know what I thought would happen to them. Melt or something! And I could just bin them if they did.

After they have come out of the dishwasher you can put them in the microwave for 2 minutes (but only if they are damp as they might catch fire). See this BBC news item
