Who knows about tiles? Can you cut stone tiles like you can normal ceramic tiles?

We have fallen in love with these natutural stone tiles here

But we would need to cut them, they are quite thick, thicker than normal ceramic tiles.

Is that possible?

They do look nice. I think you can cut tiles like that but you'd need an electric tile cutter rather than doing the scoring/snapping by hand. We borrowed a tile cutter when we did ours and it was really quick - you can probably hire them. I was going to say I bet the shop could give you advice but when we bought our bathroom from Wickes they were a bit rubbish with customer service!

Thank you for replying!!!

Yes, these are from wickes, (but just the tiles, not the whole kitchen) and we talked to them last night and they said a tile cutter with a diamond head would do it, and I think our blokie whose fitting our kitchen has got one!

Anyway, we've bought them now (£400 on tiles ) so we had better be able to cut them!!!!!
