Cat Hair

Hi everyone,
I'm going spare at the moment trying to clean up cat hair and wondered what other people's routines/tips were. I was mortified yesterday when the MIL stood up off one of our chairs with a furry bum because of all the cat hair on her trousers, even though we have upgraded Hoover and I'd hoovered the sofas before she came! We have a baby on the way soon and I really dont want to end up with the baby stuff covered in at hair to but I'm at my wits end trying to work out what to clean when to reduce it.

Comb the cats every day (esp. spring/summer when moulting) outdoors.

I think combing with a futminator (if you have a cat, you need one). And putting down blankets where the cats like to sit then washing them 2 times a week is probably the only things that have helped me.

Zoom grooms are excellent too. Lidl are doing a knock off version for £4.

Vacuumings not enough, you've got to catch the fur before it hits the sofa.
