Ironing board recommendation...

I've decided I need a new ironing board...my "value" one from my student days (18 years ago) is on its last legs (and is also an odd size making it difficult to but replacement covers for).

As a real grown up, I'd like a decent board - both DH and I are in professional jobs and I iron most of our clothes.

Any suggestions please?

Get the biggest sturdiest one you can afford.

... and make sure you can adjust its hight.
Mine also has a metal rod thingy to keep the cord of the iron away from the board and an inbuild extension cord - I plug in the iron at the board itself.

None of these features help with getting started in the first place.
My board ist there, my iron, my sprinkler and the ironing - I'm not.
