Black Shower Tiles

Any ideas for cleaning hard water marks off black shower tiles? Normal cleaners like Viakal don't seem to work. The tiles look lovely and black and shiny when wet but as soon as they dry they have white patches all over them.

I have black shower tiles and white ones and they never looked clean until I discovered hand held steamers.

My steam mop has a hand held attachment with a squeegee attachment. Just whizz it over the tiles once you've had a shower. Takes 2 mins and brings them up sparkly :)

I use limelight & rinse with lots of water.

The tiles are matt black textured porcelain. Have tried steam cleaning, bicarb of soda, vinegar, lemon juice... nothing works. They have what looks like a white powdery residue on them. Any help?
