Tips for removing toothpaste from carpet

DS is having a 'phase' of throwing his toothbrush around rather than brushing his teeth.

As a result we've got a few toothpaste stains on beige carpet.

So any tips for removing them?! Already tried Vanish carpet cleaner but didn't make a dent so willing to try anything! TIA

you need to moisten in with water to soften it. I believe it is white china clay with additives. Maybe put a damp towel on it overnight, then sponge it once softened.

Using a brush may make the carpet go frizzy.
