Set yourself a time limit. For some reason it really works. I work in 15 min sessions, get loads done

Pretend someone is coming round in ten minutes, that really gets me moving!

Invite someone around. That works even better!
Put something interesting on the radio so you get engrossed and don't notice doing so much.

My best tips to keep somewhere tidy are... Declutter ruthlessly and then get I to the habit of whenever you are leaving a room or going upstairs then bring something with you that needs to go back to that place. Eg going upstairs? Then bring up the shoes that are lying in the hall. Going out to the kitchen? Take out the dirty cup that's in the living room. It means it doesn't become a special errand to do these things as you do them without thinking as you go along.

Haha Ditsy that's definitely my downfall Grin
