Hi
My DH inherited 3 crystal decanters from his Grandad. As you can see from the one pictured they have white marks is that we can't seem to get rid of (this is the worst of the 3) any ideas of what will restore them to their gleaming former glory?

Help any ideas?

Inside use white vinegar and salt crystals - no Indra if outside

No you mix white vinegar and SALT not soda

If it is inside you could try putting in some grains of rice and washing with warm soapy water. If you swirl the rice around it helps to dislodge the dirt that you can't reach inside. Lakeland sell some copper coloured little balls that do the same job.

As above poster but I was going to suggest broken eggshells. It does work. Smile

What about those fizzy teeth cleaning tablets? Sterident? Might work
