Where do you store it?

Would prefer somewhere online and secure but not sure where....

Evernote is a good choice although the free service is becoming less and less attractive. It creates the best document scans from the mobile app, but this may not be a concern if you are using a scanner to scan the docs?

Alternatively you can take your pick of Cloud drives - Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, Amazon, etc. All have increasingly stringent limits on the amount of storage offered with the free accounts and document scans are not the smallest files to be storing. I read this morning that Backblaze is one of the best options for unlimited file storage at $5 a month.
