Can't get the smell of wee out

DD (aged 3) had an accident on the sofa yesterday. It's a kind of beige fabric. I stripped the sofa covers off almost immediately, shoved them in the washing machine at 60 with some stain remover added, and cleaned the sponge insides with antibacterial stuff. I also sprayed oust all over the sofa (about half a can!) Yet I still can't get the smell of wee out of the sofa. It's driving me mad, as I feel I've done as much as I can.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

I've used a steam cleaner filled with 50/50 water and white vinegar to get wee out of a mattress -I just kept going over and over the affected area and there's no whiff left

Bicarbonate soda is good at removing smells. Sprinkle some on, leave it then brush/Hoover off.

Another vote for bicarbonate of soda! Followed by steam cleaner and then bicarbonate of soda again if needed.

After my words of wisdom on here my son also had an accident on my sofa mid nap and the bicarbonate worked a treat. Hope it worked for you too.

This is the stuff you need, a couple of sprays of this and the smell will be gone forever.

After days and multiple attempts at cleaning/odour remover, bicarb sorted a carpet out in our house overnight

Make tthe spot damp. Put on bicarbonate of soda, leave to dry and for as long as possible, then hoover.
