Can I use a magic eraser on the wall?

Or will it take the paint off?
The cat has made a right mess splattering his dinner everywhere, I'm sure a magic eraser would shift it but don't want to ruin the wall.

The only way to find out is to try on a small area. You'll probably have to wipe the wall down with a clean cloth afterwards to get rid of any magic eraser residue.

Yes, what wow said, clean the wall afterwards.

Whitelisbon · 12/07/2016 11:17

Yes but if you rub too hard it'll remove the paint. Voice of experience.

I think it won't be a problem. If you don't rub too hard. Smile

I tried to remove black smoke from a candle, but the eraser took the paint too. I had to repaint anyway.

Didn't remove my paint Confused

Thanks. I've had a go on the wall which is a pale colour anyway and it seems fine. I'm not going to risk it on the darker coloured wall that got splashed with tea though, I might just put a picture or something in front of it!
