We've woken up to SNOW! We live with open views across a valley so it looks really pretty. The lo's are delighted, it's a shame they have to go to school/pre-school really cos it'd be fun to play out with them. I might see if dh can find the sledge for me to pull them to school on.

Morning all.

Lots of snow here so DH went in to work late and played with DD for half an hour. She loved it - and built her first snowman

I have put d/w and w/m on, cleared kitchen, changed spare bed and tidied DDs room

Still have to sort out our bedroom as havent touched it all week but will, and have to sort our rubbish & recyling as collection day is tomorrow. Bit cold for that now though

Now I'm going to watch telly for a bit with a cuppa

Hi everyone. Am in a muddle today but am having my hair done and have to do an hours writing. yesterday went pear shaped as one of my kids had to be collected from school because she was ill. I still managed to do a few things though and hoover and tidy.

All my hard work yesterday seem to have been undone in les sthan 24 hours so I'll be spending this morning doing it all again Can't believe just how untidy the house is this morning (but that may be partly because I got caught up in a long game on isketch last night so nothing else got done

~load/empty/reload td
~empty and reload dw
~make beds
~quick tidy upstairs
~clear debris downstairs - not quits sure what's gone on down there but it's AWFUL
~clean upstairs bathroom (and bath toys)
~clean shoes (never done yesterday)
~change kids beds
~household paper work...?

I'm feeling much brighter today - perhaps the snow has helped - it seems to have a similar effect to a lovely warm sunny day and puts a smile on everyone's face

It is snowy here too in the East Midlands! Looks all purty

So far today I have,

dressed to shoes,
dishwasher emptied and reloaded
washer emptied
tumble drier on
had my brekkie and coffee
wiped up crumbs round toaster while i waited for it to pop!

planning to do;

-empty td, fold, put away
-1 hour de-cluttering wardrobes in 15 min chunks
-zone mission
-15 mins of paperwork (hate, hate, hate paperwork so is my antiprocrastination task)
-shredding after the paperwork

laters girls..off to do my first 15 mins in the wardrobe if the gremlins in there don't get me..!!

This morning I impressed myself. I had a bad bout of ill health before Xmas. As I knew I had 'stopped' doing things so I forced myself to walk to town (1/2 mile which I did in 20 mins then back. Quite a breakthrough, so despite wobbly legs I feel very proud of myself. Just wanted to share that

I too had a successful walk this morning, doing the school run - usually one of the things I have anxiety about but I did it and feel really good for it

Well I've just ventured out into the cold to the corner shop as we'd run out of milk and black bags so havent been able to start on my wardrobes yet...no excuse now though! That's my exercise for the day cos I walked...well it was uphill all the way back...

Washing machine is loaded and going again with some sheets that have been lurking at the bottom of my washing basket for ages....

Tumble drier is now emptied and towels and clothes folded but not put away yet.

Have taken some chicken out of the freezer to make a chickeny, bacony, pasta thingy for tea tonight. We need to be eaten and cleared up on time tonight as ds1 has parents evening tonight at 6pm.

Toddlers today so ive done nothing yet apart from take DS's to school then up to toddlers.

No snow here. But bloody cold!

Glad those that have snow are enjoying it.

hi everyone changed myname last night and it snowed today. dreadful night d/d3 bug and vomitted all over our bed twice!!! i've runs too now so. had to cancel work and d/d5 complaining of tummy bug so decided not to brave snowy roads and stay at home.

when d/d5 suddenly saw snow sore tummy dissappeared.

2 snowmen later . eating smoothie at present with frozen fruit from freezer!!.

to do have only loaded dishwasher wiped around kitchen.

to do:
15min. tidy of living-room and put away clothes that don't need ironing no pj's being ironed here.

listen to d/d reading book.
