I was horrified.

I have cut the hair caught in the brushes since buying it, but never taken them out. I have got rid of various gunk and fluff, as well as hair wrapped around the bars connected to the battery pack.
Fingers crossed I have put everything back correctly...

Learn from my mistakes.

Take out the dust collector part first...

There is also a little brass nut that goes between the bar and the end caps; do not drop that into the bin and have to fish it out...
