how would you clean this?

I have this big deep pile rug in my living room. It is synthetic. Unfortunately it is far too big to fit in the washing machine. I can't use a carpet cleaner due to the long fibres. It is hoovered regularly and shaken outside but needs a proper clean.

How would you clean it?

Steam cleaner?

I use ours on the rugs.

Otherwise take it to the dry cleaners for a proper job.

I would probably use something like asda carpet cleaner in a bottle.

Spray or put foam cleaner onto a damp cloth & wipe the rug.

I have a similar rug & this is what Im going to do.

Mine looks similar.

Won't that cause it to fray? I am a bit concerned I will spoil it. But it defo needs doing as the baby has been sick on it and patch cleaning isn't cutting it!

I would give Scotchgard Carpet and Rug Cleaner a try. I use it to clean my rug in my living room and it always does a fantastic job, leaving the rug smelling and looking fresh.
