Easy clean toilet seats?

Three boys in the house.... At least two with poor aim. Our loo seats are always grim. :(

On the day we moved in I took our ensuite loo seat off and I've never replaced it.

This week I've done the same for the upstairs loo.

Has anyone found a toilet seat that can be easily and thoroughly cleaned? Urine seems to have almost melted the downstairs loo seat!

Matters probably aren't helped by DS2 taking medications which make his urine super concentrated.

My current deep cleaning method is removing and putting in the bath for a good soak with cleaning fluid.

Could you get some cleaning wipes and bags, such as those sold for dog poop, and get them to wipe up after themselves and bag and bin the used wipes? Might encourage them to be more careful. Plus, have you tried a ping pong ball in the bowl for something for them to aim at?

It's not so much that as the fact that when anything drips down it gets into the hinges (grim)

I can't say i know of any easy ways to clean a toilet seat but i have found this cleaner that i believe would be very useful to you considering your situation.

how old are the boys? 4 and older = teach them to clean the loo (the whole thing) once a week and the seat everytime they make a mess.

I have this issue with ds. Staining on the seat as he sits to wee. The only thing that helped was white vinegar soaked kitchen roll left on. It didn't remove it entirely. I am going to replace them frequently & cheaply I think.

Have you tried giving them a target? www.amazon.co.uk/10-Fly-Target-Toilet-Stickers/dp/B00567WUEG or similar. Basically if there is a thing to aim at then most boys (and men) can't resist peeing on it. It was done in grand central station and really cleared up the mess there.

You could always get a removable one and stick it in the dishwasher?

Could you go industrial/pub type toilet that don't have lift up seats but moulded areas instead

I was talking to a lady the other day who has taught her boys to pee sitting down at home, I thought it was a good idea, they get plenty of standing practice at school.

3 boys in our house, so far the easiest loo seat to clean has been has been this one, I also bought it as they are meant to be virtually indestructible and I was sick of constantly wobbly loo seats . I though it was going to be ghastly and really industrial but it's actually o.k.
