Decluttering: what to do with lots of unused greetings cards?

Does anyone know of a charity or other organisation (or individual) who could make use of lots of unused greetings cards?

When the DC were younger I kept an emergency box of cards and it's still full of things I will never use now they are teens. I know I could just recycle the cards and keep the envelopes but it seems a bit of a shame. Cards vary from children's birthday cards to some odds and end of Christmas to get well/ new home type ones I've not used in 10 years so doubt I will! (Plus others that DH bought and promptly lost!)

All ideas welcome.

Charity shop?

Charity shops for smaller local charities are sometimes happy to accept them, assuming they are fit for resale.

Take them to your local nursery school
Our children love sending each other cards and it's can really good way of introducing writing for a reason

Good idea re school. Anything to encourage a bit of enthusiasm for writingSmile

I would freecycle something like that as I think best chance of it getting to someone who will use it.
