DH has been trying to fix the doorbell all weekend and was finally stumped. He is an electrical engineer and what should have been a 10 min job has turned into a 'project'. He flew off on business this morning still clueless as to why it wasn't working.
I put new batteries in it and cleaned up the bell push and voila we've got a ding dong.
