Monday FLY - Bathroom

I don't like the bathroom week, the missions are alway the same, and mine is so small I do it in one day, then end up slacking off the rest of the week!

I hope things go ok for tortoise and hazel today.

Home blessing hour, and assorted FAQs for anyone who is interested

I have my other dd home from school sick today, and the weekend shop didn't get done, so we are short of almost everything. Hoping dp gets home early tonight and I can take the car and go then.

I will give the bathroom a good clean up today, plus

kitchen maintenance,
1 load washing
hoover
tidy up in the garden if it stays dry...

Morning and hope your dd feels better soon jelley.

My clutter went in the move so I know that there is nothing to do here but I need to clean the bathroom and shine the mirrors. I may not get time today though as I am of to work and having a quick swim first when I have dropped off the kids at school.

Amazing what 3 nights in a row decent sleep can do (and a bedtime routine).

Got up after feeding DS when the alarm went off... got myself ready as they played... both children fed, dressed, ready to go... playing upstairs while I have 5 mins MN!

Yes Jelley... I'm going, i'm going...

morning all.

Off to take DD to preschool in a bit. Not sure she's well but hoping it will perk her up.

Love bathroom week as I get it done in a day or two and then feel good I always do DDs bedroom and the baby's room this week too as they are small rooms - the decluttering has made a difference.

glitter I fancy a nice swim! Will have to wait until I'm child free as otherwise I never actually get to swim

flame glad you are back on track...getting decent sleep really does make a difference doesn't it.

My list today:

~Diswasher done
~3 loads of washing 1 in
~Hoover
~Bathroom
~Nip to the chemist
~General tidy

I'm not keen on the bathroom week either...I never have that much in my bathroom! I don't tend to buy loads of shampoos, etc. Dh needs shaving foam and I need deodorant and ladies things (hence trip to chemist)

Oh sorry satin I missed you off!

Sorry to hear your dd's not well either...maybe some fresh air might perk her up a bit it usually does with my lot. Is it this cold/flu bug again?
I am really hoping mine don't manage to catch another one...it is just beginning to feel like the weather is turning, so I don't want bugs keeping them in!!!

Hi I have done my 15 mins in the bathroom, have wiped down the bits that need dusting, cleaned out the boiler cupboard

and since I always do dd1's room as the extra room as it's just across the landing, I have done her skirtings and doorframes as well

today's list

washed nappies done
hang nappies up
put yesterday's laundry away done
food shop
5-min rescue in the living room

hello everyone, I am popping back in here to keep me motivated. Did bathroom this morning whilst getting ready.
Will Do 15 mins in DS bedroom now, -total tip
washing on.
laundry to put away.
and some dreaded ironing.

hello,

dimpled Its awful isn't it when they cling as you drop them off. My dd1 was ok today but my friends dd1 was in tears as I arrived and she ran over to me to tell me she wanted mummy As I know her very well I gave her a hug and a kiss and stopped her crying. By the time I had gone she was ok....My friend was very anxious by the time I got ds to nursery (she is his leader at nursery)and she asked if her dd1 was crying when I got there...so I said No..She was fine!!!!(small white lie...but I know how horrid it is when you know they are upset and you can't be there!!)
You can be rest assured though...they soon cheer up and get on with things

Hi everyone

dimpled hope dd is in a better mood when she comes home.

my DD cheered up as soon as she got to preschool. i think she just dodnt want to leave her daddy.

DD2 woke up as soon as i got home so after a long feed and a play she has now gone back to sleep.

I've been watching a programme i missed and so have been tied to living room. have decluttered and dusted so quite pleased. now going to get back to tv and chill before i need to go out again.

Both have SS meetings today.

(I wouldn't know, I'm not here either I won't tell if you don't)

I've done 15 min bursts in the kitchen and garden, and the bathroom is all finished. Off to do lunch now...

Hi all - not much flying here today, lots of ebay selling instead!

Have got new job - all very exciting - highly demanding, well paid and very stressful (well, the last one is true) - yes, I'm a midday supervisor at school for two lunchtimes a week!!!!! For the grand total of 530 squid a YEAR!!! Still, I'm not doing it for the money.

Unfortunately because it's only two hours a week, I still have lots of time for flying. So I just need to motivate myself now.

Hi Ruby - how's your MIL? Sorry, I've not caught up on past posts. And what's up with your SIL? I have a very strange one of those too. Mind you, most of DH's family are downright peculiar.

Afternoon All

Well after recoving yesterday from DS's 4:20 am alarm call (bless ) nothing had been done! so today I've :

Showered and dressed
Clean round in bathroom
Sloosh loo
Emptied wm
Organised for drying
Reloaded wm and done a load
Put it out to dry
Emptied dw
Put it away
Cleaned hob
Reloaded DW
Shower DH
Do breakfast
Tidy away
Organised clothes for sending to charity shop
Dress DS ready for school..find DH had left a school shoe on outside porch windowsill and it's soaked
Find emergency pumps
Go to my 'Reading Friends' Session
Phone HMCE re my NI contributions
File paperwork
Make and eat lunch
Tidy away

DS due home in 10 mins so there goes my me time
