Hello and happy bank holiday weekend 
We need to get a new oven and before I spend any money, I thought I'd turn to the Mumsnet hive mind/collective wisdom. What do you recommend? We'd like to get an electric fan oven. I am steeling myself to spend a few hundred pounds as I want one that's going to last and that's reliable.
My particular pet hate is ovens where the numbers are printed on in cheap paint and it comes off when you clean. We have this problem with our current oven, and I have to make a rough guess about where to put the dial in order to get approximately the right temperature, which is not ideal.
What do you recommend and what should we steer clear of?
